Let's Talk Money

I have always been into learning about money! I make so many budgets and look at my money all the time! When buying my car, I knew exactly what I needed the sticker price to be so after taxes I would have the money payment that I wanted! I have always been into money (must be why I went to college for business management)  Starting from the age of 16 my parents let me have a credit card (of course it was in their name, but I had to pay the bill) I was so excited! But I learned fast, that if I can't afford it, then I can't put it on my credit card. I have always been money consensus.

One way that I learned about money is the Suze Orman Show!
I love it! She talks about anything & everything! Yes I know, complete nerd post, but I don't even care! Knowing about money and what to do with money is the best thing in life! I must say for my age I am doing wonderful with money! Yes I have college debt, but pretty much everyone does! (I do have to thank my parents for not paying for my school, paying for my school really made me grow up fast, and learn to get through college as fast as I can, that's why I will be graduating in December one whole semester early!)

I am so proud of myself at 21 knowing that I have my own car, I have a house with the help of my parents, having a credit score of over 795, I know it should only take me about 5-7 years to pay off $20,000, in school loans. I know that once Justin & I sell the house that we are in we want to build (I even know who I want to build my house). Yes I would say I am very proud of myself!

I can't wait to get a big girl job to start saving for my retirement! Justin puts about $600 a month in his retirement! Its hard to believe if you spend a dollar today instead of putting it in your retirement account you could of had 45 dollars out of that one dollar by the time you retire! CRAZY!

It is hard though! I don't get to buy all the nice clothes and things for my house... but if there is a sale you better believe that I am there! It takes time, but go ahead learn about money! I promise you won't regret it!

Dating A Man That Works Second Shift

I hate it! It sucks.. That is all I really have to say about it! I eat breakfast by myself, eat dinner by myself, watch TV at night by myself, pretty much everything... It's hard & really boring!!

I have starting to spend a lot of time at my parents and my sister's house! Keeps me occupied! Justin is finally done with training, so he rides by himself now.. & now it makes me even more nervous!
I do worry, but I know that he is a smart deputy, and will come home to me every night.. But if I do wake up any time after 12pm and he isn't home PANIC MODE comes on & I FREAK.

Then I call him and sometimes he answer's but if he is held up on a call, he can't answer.. so panic mode last a little or a lot longer!

So yeah... I hate second shift...

What do you hate?

Girl Meets World

How many of you all watched Girl Meets World over the weekend?!?

I did! We I recorded it and watched it with Justin last night... I don't know what I think of it!

Of course I LOVE the old cast of Boy Meets World

What's not to love about them! I still watch this show all the time! It's a good show! It shows that real life can be hard, but they all get through it all together!

But back to Girl Meets World-- I like it I do, but I think it's a little cheesy! ( I think it is because the Disney Channel pick it up!) Of course, I love Corey and Topanga! You can get better than them! I feel like I have watched their love story grow on TV, starting on TGIFridays!

I don't know how I feel about the New Girl Meets World, But I do hope that I start to really like it! I hope it turns into more like the old Boy Meets World!

--Only time will tell!!

-Did you watch it? If so, what did you think?

My New Car!

So.. I am a little behind on writing on my blog.. and I really miss it!!
So here is a catch up post!
Two weeks ago tomorrow I bought a car! My very first car! My mom and I went knowing which car I wanted! We found the car, stood next to it and waited for a sales person to come up and help us! Look how pretty!!!! We test drove it, and i absolutely loved it! Justin has a pretty big car, so I really just needed a smaller car, and that is exactly what this car was!

I was nervous, that I was not going to be able to get the loan all by myself, (considering I'm in college full time & working a part time job, with school loans up to my eyeballs) But I did! The account manager said that I was the highest credit score he has seen at my age since he has been there!  I was so excited, I have always been careful about my credit score so I knew it was pretty high, but I didn't know how high!
So we went back the next night and bought it! I love knowing that it is my car, and I bought it with my own money! I love it and I am proud of myself, for being 21 with a house and a car! I've worked so hard in my life, and I can't wait to continue working hard!

-- Have a wonderful day!
I'll be out driving my pretty car!

My Last Semester Of College...

It is so hard to believe that I graduated High School Three years ago!!

Where has the time gone?!?

What I really Can't believe is that I graduate college in less than 6 months!!

College was a great and horrible experience all at the same time... I met people that will be in my life forever, and I met people who I will never talk to again. I had wonderful professors who cared, and professors who didn't care at all. I had some easy classes, and some classes where I just wanted to cry... but one thing that was always easy was ordering my books from Campus Book Rentals

They are a wonderful company to work with when ordering books! Once I realized how easy it was, they were the only company that I would buy from. I still compared them to companies, and they were ALWAYS the cheapest! Cheap & Easy... Can't go wrong with that!

Renting a textbook is the best way to same money in college.. yes you can always sell books back but for what 5 or 10 dollars.. not worth it at all! Actually, Campus Book Rentals lets to rent books you bought to other students! Smart Right? Making money over and over again by renting out your books!!

You can highlight in the book just like its yours! Also free shipping both ways! And the best part about it.. They send you a pink envelop to mail it back in, so its nice and easy! Don't even have to print off a shipping label!
You can't get better than that!

One other amazing thing is for every book they rent out they donate money to Operation Smile- Operation Smile changes lives forever by helping them go through reconstructive cleft lip surgeries. How amazing?
Well, I am off to order books for my last semeter of college!!

Thanks Campus Book Rentals for making renting books so easy!!
